School Groups

The North Shore Commercial Fishing Museum prides itself as being a wonderful resource for students and welcomes school groups anywhere from elementary students through the university level. Your visit to the Museum can be tailored to meet your curriculum needs. Whether you are studying ecosystems and watersheds or you are looking at vernacular boats and traditional foodways, a visit to the Museum can incorporate hands-on-learning that may not be applicable in the classroom.

The Museum is interested in identifying your curriculum's needs. Please fill out the Curriculum Survey, and we can formulate a program for your school group.

The Museum is open and available for Guided Tours during regular Museum Hours of Operation.

Unless otherwise noted, all School Groups can Tour the Museum at no charge.

Please contact the Museum at least six weeks prior to your scheduled Tour.

Museum staff may be available to bring these programs to your classroom! Inquire today.
